Thank you for using ALTT, an AI-powered education and exam-preparation platform available at https://altt.site.

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, renewals, refunds, payment issues, technical problems, and account deletion are handled for ALTT’s paid digital subscriptions.

ALTT currently sells digital subscription access only. We do not sell physical products, so this policy does not include returns, shipping, packaging, or product return instructions.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

1. What this policy applies to

This Refund Policy applies to ALTT’s paid Premium subscriptions, including:

  • Weekly Premium
  • Monthly Premium
  • Yearly Premium

Premium may include access to paid study features, AI Tutor, tests, notes, learning tools, and other Premium content or functionality.

ALTT does not currently sell separate downloadable digital files or physical goods.

2. Payments through Paddle

ALTT uses Paddle to process payments.

Paddle may handle checkout, payments, taxes/VAT, invoices, receipts, subscriptions, and refund processing as the payment provider and merchant of record for ALTT transactions.

Refunds approved by ALTT may be processed through Paddle and may be subject to Paddle’s payment, billing, tax, refund, and compliance procedures.

For payment-specific issues, such as finding a receipt, identifying a charge, cancelling a subscription through Paddle, duplicate charges, payment errors, or card/payment problems, users may also contact Paddle Order Support.

Normally, refund requests should be sent to ALTT first so we can review the user’s account, subscription, usage, and refund eligibility.

3. Free plan and free trials

ALTT offers a free plan.

ALTT does not currently offer a free trial of Premium unless a trial is clearly shown on the checkout page or inside ALTT.

If ALTT offers a free trial in the future, the trial terms shown at checkout will apply. A trial may require a payment card. ALTT may also send trial-ending reminders where appropriate or required.

If a user forgets to cancel a trial and is charged after the trial ends, they may request a refund. Refunds are not automatic and may depend on whether Premium features were used after the trial, the timing of the request, and other refund eligibility factors in this policy.

4. Cancelling your subscription

Users may cancel their ALTT Premium subscription at any time.

You can normally cancel through:

  • Paddle’s customer portal or subscription management link;
  • any “Manage subscription” or “Cancel subscription” button provided in your ALTT account settings, where available; or
  • ALTT support at ggahramaq@gmail.com if you have trouble cancelling.

Cancellation normally stops future recurring charges. It does not automatically refund payments already made.

After cancellation, you will normally keep Premium access until the end of your current paid billing period. Cancellation does not usually remove Premium access immediately.

If you cancel after a renewal payment has already been made, the renewal payment is not automatically refunded. You may still request a refund, and ALTT may review the request case-by-case.

5. Refund window

ALTT’s normal refund request window is 14 days from the payment or renewal date.

Refund requests made within 14 days may be reviewed case-by-case in line with this Refund Policy, Paddle’s Buyer Terms, Paddle’s refund requirements, and applicable law. A request within 14 days does not automatically guarantee a refund, especially where the user has already started using or benefiting from Premium digital features, but ALTT will review eligible requests fairly.

Refund requests made after 14 days are normally not eligible, unless required by applicable law, Paddle’s policies, or unless ALTT decides that special circumstances justify review.

Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or consumer rights that a user may have under applicable law or Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

6. Case-by-case refund review

Refunds are reviewed case-by-case.

When reviewing a refund request, ALTT may consider:

  • the date of purchase or renewal;
  • the type of plan purchased;
  • whether the request was made within 14 days;
  • whether the user used Premium features;
  • whether AI Tutor, tests, notes, paid content, or other Premium tools were used;
  • whether there was a technical issue caused by ALTT;
  • whether there was a duplicate charge, accidental payment, or payment error;
  • whether the user violated ALTT’s Terms of Service;
  • whether there is evidence of abuse, fraud, or dishonest activity;
  • applicable law and Paddle’s payment procedures.

Refunds may be full or partial depending on the situation.

7. Digital access and Premium usage

ALTT is a digital service. Access is considered provided once the user’s account receives access to paid Premium features.

Because ALTT provides digital access, refunds may be limited once the user has used Premium features, AI Tutor, paid study content, tests, notes, or other paid tools.

ALTT may refuse a refund or offer only a partial refund where the user has meaningfully used the service.

Heavy use of AI Tutor, Premium tests, Premium content, saved notes, or other paid features may reduce or remove refund eligibility.

8. When refunds may be approved

ALTT may consider a refund, partial refund, account credit, or extra Premium time in situations such as:

  • the user paid but Premium did not activate;
  • the user could not access Premium features because of an ALTT-side issue;
  • AI Tutor or another paid core feature was unavailable for a long time;
  • a major ALTT platform outage prevented paid users from using the service;
  • a repeated technical issue was reported and ALTT could not fix it within a reasonable time;
  • the user was charged twice for the same subscription or transaction by mistake;
  • the user accidentally bought the wrong plan;
  • a renewal happened and the user requested review within 14 days;
  • a parent, guardian, or cardholder reports an unauthorized payment by a minor;
  • ALTT is required to provide a refund by applicable law.

Refunds are not guaranteed in these situations, but ALTT will review them fairly.

9. When refunds may be refused

ALTT may refuse a refund where:

  • the request is made after the normal 14-day refund window;
  • the user heavily used Premium features before requesting a refund;
  • the user used AI Tutor heavily;
  • the user completed tests, saved notes, or accessed significant Premium content;
  • the user changed their mind after using the service;
  • the user forgot to cancel and requested a refund late;
  • the user is unhappy with exam results or grade improvement;
  • the user is dissatisfied with an AI-generated answer;
  • the issue was caused by the user’s device, browser, internet connection, VPN, school network, local settings, or other user-side problem;
  • the user violated ALTT’s Terms of Service;
  • the user shared their account where this is not allowed;
  • the user provided fake or misleading information;
  • there is suspected fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, or dishonest activity.

ALTT does not guarantee exam results, grade improvement, or perfect AI Tutor responses. AI-generated answers may sometimes be incomplete, incorrect, or not suitable for every user’s needs. Dissatisfaction with an AI response does not automatically create a refund right.

10. Technical issues and outages

If a serious technical issue prevents you from using paid features you purchased, you may contact ALTT for help.

A serious technical issue may include:

  • Premium not activating after payment;
  • paid features being unavailable due to an ALTT-side issue;
  • AI Tutor or another paid core feature being unavailable for a long time;
  • a major platform outage affecting paid users;
  • repeated unresolved technical issues over several days.

For major paid-feature access issues, ALTT will normally first try to fix the issue, restore access, activate Premium, or provide support.

If the issue cannot be fixed within a reasonable time, ALTT may consider a refund, partial refund, account credit, or extra Premium time.

As a general guide, refund review may be more likely if a major paid-feature access issue lasts around 24 hours or more, or if repeated unresolved issues continue over several days.

Issues caused by third-party services such as OpenAI, Paddle, Netlify, Neon, Google, Resend, or other providers may be handled case-by-case depending on their impact and duration.

11. Duplicate charges, accidental payments, and wrong plans

If you believe you were charged twice for the same subscription or transaction, contact ALTT as soon as possible. If the duplicate charge is verified, ALTT will help resolve it through Paddle and may refund the duplicate payment where appropriate.

If you accidentally bought the wrong plan, contact ALTT. Depending on the situation, ALTT may help change your plan, cancel the wrong plan, provide a partial adjustment, offer account credit, or review a refund request case-by-case.

If you forgot to cancel before a renewal, you may request a refund within 14 days of the renewal. Renewal refunds are not automatic and will be reviewed case-by-case.

12. Payments by minors or without permission

ALTT is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 18 should have permission from a parent, guardian, or payment method owner before purchasing Premium.

If a parent, guardian, or cardholder says a child or under-18 user paid without permission, ALTT may request verification, payment details, account details, and proof of purchase.

ALTT may cancel the subscription and consider a refund case-by-case depending on the timing of the request, usage of Premium features, verification, and applicable law.

13. Monthly, yearly, and weekly subscriptions

Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Premium payments may be reviewed for a refund if the request is made within 14 days and the user has not heavily used Premium features.

Refunds are not guaranteed.

If a discounted Yearly Premium plan is refunded, the refund amount will normally be based on the actual amount paid after discounts, promotions, coupons, taxes, currency conversion, and payment adjustments.

Cancelling a Yearly Premium subscription after some months does not automatically create a partial or pro-rated refund. The user will normally keep Premium access until the end of the paid billing period unless a refund or other adjustment is approved case-by-case or required by law.

14. Plan changes, upgrades, and downgrades

Plan changes may be handled through Paddle’s checkout and billing settings.

If a user upgrades from Monthly Premium to Yearly Premium, any credit, proration, or unused time adjustment may depend on Paddle’s billing settings.

If a user downgrades, the downgrade will normally take effect at the next billing period. A downgrade does not automatically create a refund for the current paid period.

Unused days may be handled through Paddle’s plan-change rules, credits, or proration where available. ALTT does not guarantee a cash refund for unused days unless approved case-by-case or required by law.

15. Refund amount

Refunds may be full or partial.

The final refund amount may depend on:

  • the actual amount paid;
  • plan type;
  • usage of the service;
  • discounts, promotions, or coupons;
  • taxes or VAT;
  • Paddle’s payment and refund procedures;
  • payment method rules;
  • bank or card network rules;
  • currency conversion rates or fees;
  • applicable law.

Taxes, VAT, payment processing fees, bank fees, and currency conversion fees may not always be refundable. These may be controlled by Paddle, banks, payment providers, card networks, or tax rules rather than ALTT.

16. Refund timing

ALTT aims to review refund requests within 2–5 business days where possible.

Complicated cases may take longer, especially if ALTT needs to verify payment details, investigate usage, check technical logs, confirm account ownership, review Paddle records, or handle parent/cardholder verification.

If a refund is approved, it will normally be sent back to the original payment method through Paddle.

ALTT cannot guarantee the exact time it will take for the refund to appear in your account. Refund timing may depend on Paddle, your payment method, your bank, your card provider, tax handling, currency processing, and payment network rules.

Refunds usually cannot be sent to a different card, bank account, or payment method. If your original payment method is closed or unavailable, you may need to contact Paddle, your bank, or your payment provider.

17. Account deletion and refund requests

Deleting your ALTT account does not automatically cancel your paid subscription unless ALTT has clearly implemented and confirmed that behavior.

To avoid future charges, you should cancel your subscription through Paddle before deleting your ALTT account.

If you delete your ALTT account while subscribed, your subscription may remain active unless it has been cancelled through Paddle.

Account deletion does not automatically create a refund right.

Privacy requests, AI chat deletion requests, learning progress deletion requests, and billing/refund requests are separate processes. Deleting AI chats, notes, or learning progress does not automatically create a refund right.

18. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you have a billing problem, please contact ALTT first at ggahramaq@gmail.com. For payment-specific issues, you may also contact Paddle Order Support.

Contacting ALTT or Paddle first may help resolve the issue faster and avoid unnecessary disputes.

If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, ALTT may suspend or restrict paid access while the dispute is reviewed.

Chargebacks may be handled by Paddle, banks, payment providers, and card networks. Fraudulent, abusive, or dishonest disputes may result in refusal of refund, restriction of access, or termination of Premium access.

19. Abuse, fraud, and Terms violations

ALTT may refuse a refund, restrict access, or terminate Premium access if there is evidence of:

  • fraud;
  • refund abuse;
  • chargeback abuse;
  • fake or misleading information;
  • unauthorized account sharing;
  • violation of ALTT’s Terms of Service;
  • misuse of Premium features;
  • attempts to get a refund after heavy use of the service;
  • suspicious or dishonest activity.

If a refund is approved, ALTT may remove Premium access connected to that payment.

20. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email ALTT at:

ggahramaq@gmail.com

In the future, ALTT may change the support email to support@altt.site. If this changes, ALTT will update this policy or notify users where appropriate.

Please include:

  • your ALTT account email;
  • your payment email, if different;
  • your Paddle transaction ID or receipt;
  • your plan type;
  • your purchase or renewal date;
  • the reason for your refund request;
  • screenshots or error messages, if relevant.

Where needed, ALTT may ask for additional information to verify the account owner, payment owner, parent, guardian, cardholder, Paddle receipt, transaction ID, or payment details.

Where possible, please contact ALTT from the email address connected to your ALTT account. If you cannot, ALTT may ask for extra verification.

21. Changes to this Refund Policy

ALTT may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

Updates will normally apply when posted. For fairness, material refund policy changes will normally apply to future purchases and renewals, unless the change is required by law, is a clarification, relates to security or fraud prevention, or is more favorable to users.

ALTT may notify users of major refund policy changes by website notice, email, account notice, checkout notice, or another reasonable method.

Plan-specific terms, checkout terms, Paddle terms, or payment-provider terms shown at checkout may also apply.
