Plain-English summary
ALTT is an AI-powered education and exam-preparation platform. We collect information needed to create accounts, provide learning features, save progress, run AI Tutor, manage subscriptions, send service emails, keep ALTT secure, and improve the service.
Some important points:
- ALTT is for users aged 13 and above.
- If you are under 18, you should use ALTT with parent or guardian permission where appropriate, especially for paid features.

- Payments are handled by Paddle. ALTT does not store full card numbers or CVV codes.

1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ALTT collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use https://altt.site.
In this policy, “ALTT,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the ALTT service. ALTT is currently operated from Azerbaijan. ALTT is not currently described here as a registered company, so this policy does not include a company registration number or business address.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- visitors to the website;
- registered users;
- free users;
- Premium users;
- students aged 13 and above;
- parents and guardians;
- teachers and tutors;
- users who contact us by email;
- users who sign in with Google;
- users who pay through Paddle;
- users who interact with AI Tutor.
2. Age, students, and children’s privacy
ALTT is intended for users aged 13 and above.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and related data.
Users aged 13–17 may use ALTT, but should have parent or guardian permission where appropriate, especially for account use and paid features. If a user under 18 pays for ALTT, they should have permission from the card holder or payment method owner.
Parents or guardians may contact us at ggahramaq@gmail.com to request deletion of a child’s data.
Students should avoid submitting unnecessary personal information into AI Tutor or other ALTT features.
3. Information we collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you use ALTT.
Account information
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
- name;
- username;
- email address;
- password-related authentication data, if email/password login is used;
- Google login information, if you choose Google sign-in;
- profile picture, if provided through Google login;
- Google account ID, if you use Google login;
- selected exam type;
- selected subjects;
- preferred study style;
- current level;
- subscription status;
- account creation date;
- login history;
- account settings and preferences.
If email/password login is used, authentication credentials are handled by our authentication system. ALTT does not intentionally store passwords in plain text.
If you sign in with Google, ALTT does not receive or store your Google password.
ALTT does not currently ask for your country, school name, grade/year, teacher/tutor status, or parent/guardian information, unless a parent or guardian is the person creating or managing the account.
4. Study and learning data
To provide ALTT’s learning features, we may collect and store:
- subject choices;
- AI Tutor chat history;
- AI Tutor prompts;
- AI Tutor responses;
- written answers;
- practice answers;
- quiz or test attempts;
- target test results;
- exam question activity;
- strength analysis history;
- progress data;
- streak data;
- mastery map or progress tracking data;
- revision note activity;
- topics opened;
- mistakes and weak topics;
- score history;
- feedback submitted by users;
- AI Tutor usage counts;
- free plan limits and Premium fair-use information.
ALTT’s current flashcards are hard-coded, so ALTT does not currently store user-created flashcards. If custom flashcards are added later, ALTT may store them and update this policy where needed.
If mock exams, generated study plans, exam board selection, or similar features are added later, ALTT may collect the data needed to provide those features.
5. AI Tutor data
AI Tutor is an important part of ALTT, so this section explains how AI-related data is handled.
When you use AI Tutor, ALTT may store:
- your AI Tutor messages;
- prompts you submit;
- AI-generated responses;
- related chat history;
- account history connected to AI Tutor;
- information needed for safety review, support, and service features.
ALTT currently uses OpenAI as an AI provider. To make AI Tutor work, ALTT may send your prompt or message content to OpenAI or another third-party AI provider if ALTT changes or adds providers later.
ALTT may also send limited learning context, such as your preferred study style and current level, where needed to provide a better educational response.
Where reasonably possible, ALTT tries to avoid sending unnecessary personal information to AI providers.
What you should not submit into AI Tutor
Do not submit unnecessary sensitive or private information, including:
- passwords;
- payment card details;
- private information about other people;
- health information;
- confidential school information;
- highly personal information;
- anything you do not have the right to share.
ALTT does not ask you to submit sensitive personal information into AI Tutor.
AI training
ALTT does not use AI Tutor messages to train ALTT’s own AI models.
ALTT does not use AI Tutor messages to train public AI models.
ALTT may use non-identifying or aggregated information to understand usage, improve reliability, and improve the service where appropriate.
In the future, ALTT may use AI chat history to personalize your own learning experience. If this becomes a material change, this policy will be updated.
Manual review of AI chats
ALTT may review AI Tutor chats where reasonably necessary for:
- support;
- safety review;
- abuse detection;
- debugging;
- security;
- improving service reliability.
Access is limited to people who need it to operate, support, secure, or improve ALTT.
You can request deletion of AI Tutor chats by contacting ggahramaq@gmail.com.
6. Payment and billing data
ALTT uses Paddle for payments and subscriptions.
Paddle may process payment card details, billing details, tax/VAT information, country/location information for tax and compliance, receipts, invoices, subscription emails, renewal notices, cancellation notices, payment failure notices, and refund information.
ALTT does not store:
- full card numbers;
- CVV codes.
ALTT may receive from Paddle:
- payment status;
- subscription status;
- plan type;
- renewal date;
- cancellation status;
- refund status;
- transaction ID;
- customer ID;
- invoice or receipt information, where available.
ALTT may use payment and billing information to:
- provide Premium access;
- manage subscriptions;
- process refunds;
- prevent fraud;
- provide customer support;
- handle billing disputes;
- keep records where needed for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute reasons.
Paddle’s handling of payment data is governed by Paddle’s own privacy policy and terms.
7. Cookies, local storage, session storage, and device data
ALTT uses cookies, local storage, and session storage where needed for:
- login and authentication;
- account sessions;
- security;
- remembering preferences;
- product behavior;
- checkout and payment flows;
- keeping parts of ALTT working properly.
Third parties such as Google, Paddle, authentication providers, or hosting providers may also use cookies or similar technologies where needed for login, security, checkout, or payment.
ALTT does not currently use third-party analytics cookies.
ALTT may collect or receive technical information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- device type;
- operating system;
- approximate location from IP, especially through payment or security systems;
- basic page or resource activity;
- error logs;
- failed-request logs;
- security logs;
- performance-related logs.
This information may be collected through ALTT, hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, payment providers, AI providers, email providers, or technical logs.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. However, login, account features, checkout, preferences, security/session features, or other parts of ALTT may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
ALTT does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
8. Analytics and tracking
ALTT does not currently use:
- Google Analytics;
- Vercel Analytics;
- PostHog;
- Plausible;
- Mixpanel;
- Hotjar;
- Sentry;
- third-party marketing analytics tools;
- targeted advertising analytics.
ALTT may still store internal product data needed for functionality, such as AI usage counts, free plan limits, Premium fair-use limits, progress, streaks, and feature-related records.
ALTT may use aggregated or anonymized information to understand how the service is used, improve reliability, fix issues, and improve performance.
If ALTT later adds non-essential analytics, marketing cookies, advertising pixels, or retargeting tools, this policy and any cookie notices will be updated where required.
9. Emails and communications
ALTT may send you emails related to your account and use of the service, including:
- email verification messages;
- password reset emails;
- security messages;
- billing-related messages;
- support replies;
- important service or product updates;
- legal or policy notices.
ALTT does not currently send newsletters, promotional emails, study reminders, streak reminders, or exam reminders.
If optional marketing emails are added later, you will be able to unsubscribe from non-essential emails. Some emails cannot always be unsubscribed from, such as security, billing, legal, password reset, account, support, and important service emails.
ALTT uses Resend for automated service emails. ALTT may share your email address with Resend only as needed to send service emails and manage email delivery.
Automated service emails may be sent from security@altt.site. This address is used for sending service emails and may not be monitored for privacy requests. Privacy requests should be sent to ggahramaq@gmail.com unless this policy is updated with a new contact email.
Support replies may be handled through email.
10. How we use personal information
ALTT may use personal information to:
- create and manage accounts;
- log users in;
- provide AI Tutor;
- save AI chat history;
- provide learning features;
- save progress;
- show learning history;
- personalize learning features;
- recommend revision areas where features support this;
- manage free plan limits;
- manage Premium access and fair use;
- manage subscriptions;
- process refunds;
- provide support;
- send service emails;
- prevent fraud;
- protect account security;
- detect abuse, misuse, suspicious activity, or security issues;
- fix bugs;
- improve reliability and performance;
- understand product usage in aggregated or anonymized form;
- comply with legal obligations;
- handle disputes;
- enforce ALTT’s terms and policies;
- support a future business transfer, incorporation, restructuring, or similar event where reasonably necessary.
ALTT does not currently use personal information for targeted advertising.
11. Legal bases for processing
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, ALTT may rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: to create your account, provide ALTT features, provide AI Tutor, manage subscriptions, and give you access to Premium features.
- Legitimate interests: to keep ALTT secure, prevent fraud and abuse, improve reliability, provide support, personalize learning features, debug issues, and understand service usage.
- Legal obligations: to keep billing, tax, accounting, refund, dispute, and compliance records where required.
- Consent / parent or guardian permission: where required for optional marketing emails, non-essential cookies, other optional features, or users under 18 where local law requires parent or guardian permission.
The specific legal basis may depend on your location and how you use ALTT.
12. Sharing personal information
ALTT does not sell personal data.
ALTT does not rent personal data.
ALTT does not share personal data for targeted advertising.
ALTT may share personal information with trusted service providers where needed to operate ALTT. Known providers include:
- Netlify — hosting and website delivery;
- Neon — database hosting;
- Better Auth — authentication technology used by ALTT;
- Google OAuth — Google sign-in;
- Paddle — payments and subscriptions;
- OpenAI — AI Tutor processing;
- Resend — automated service emails.
Some of these providers have their own privacy policies, including Netlify, Neon, Google, Paddle, OpenAI, and Resend. You should review their privacy policies to understand how they handle personal data when they provide services connected to ALTT.
ALTT may also use categories of providers such as hosting, database, authentication, payment, AI, email delivery, security, CDN, technical infrastructure, or support providers.
Service providers may process data as reasonably necessary to provide their services to ALTT and as described in their own privacy, security, and service terms.
ALTT may also share information:
- if required by law;
- to respond to valid legal requests;
- to protect the rights, safety, or security of ALTT, users, or others;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues;
- in connection with a future business transfer, incorporation, restructuring, or similar event;
- with your consent.
13. Teachers, tutors, parents, and schools
ALTT does not currently provide classroom account management, school dashboards, or school-managed student accounts.
ALTT does not currently share student data with:
- teachers;
- tutors;
- parents;
- schools;
- other users.
A parent may access or manage an account only if they help create or manage it, the student allows them to view it, or they contact ALTT about a valid privacy or support request.
Users should keep their passwords private.
If ALTT later adds school, classroom, teacher dashboard, parent dashboard, or school-managed account features, this policy will be updated where needed.
14. User content and sensitive information
Users may submit content such as:
- AI Tutor prompts;
- written answers;
- practice answers;
- feedback;
- learning activity;
- other educational inputs.
ALTT does not currently have public comments, public posts, discussion boards, public profiles, public leaderboards, or public sharing of AI chats.
User content is not normally public or shown to other users.
ALTT may review or remove user content where reasonably necessary for support, safety, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or service operation.
You should not submit sensitive personal information unless it is truly necessary. You should also not submit private information about other people, payment details, passwords, or copyrighted material unless you have the right to use it.
If sensitive information is submitted voluntarily, ALTT may process it as needed to provide the service, protect safety and security, comply with legal obligations, or remove it where appropriate. ALTT uses reasonable safeguards to help protect personal information.
15. Automated decisions and personalization
ALTT may use your learning activity and progress to personalize educational features, such as:
- recommending weak topics;
- showing progress;
- suggesting revision areas;
- generating study paths, if that feature is active;
- managing AI usage limits;
- enforcing free plan limits;
- enforcing Premium fair-use limits;
- detecting or flagging suspicious activity.
ALTT does not currently use automated decisions to make significant legal or financial decisions about users.
ALTT may automatically limit, flag, or restrict activity if fair use, abuse, or security systems are triggered. If you believe a restriction was wrong, you can contact us for review.
16. Data retention
ALTT keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy.
In general:
- account data is kept while your account is active;
- AI Tutor chat history is kept as needed to provide chat history and related features, unless you request deletion;
- quiz attempts and progress data are kept as needed for learning history and progress tracking;
- subscription status is kept as needed to manage Premium access;
- billing records may be kept for legal, tax, refund, billing, fraud, and dispute reasons;
- support emails may be kept as needed for support, disputes, security, and legal records;
- security and technical logs may be kept as needed for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and legal protection.
If you delete your account or request deletion, ALTT will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize data after a reasonable technical delay, except where limited records need to be kept for legal, billing, tax, refund, fraud, security, or dispute reasons.
Backups may be deleted later according to normal backup cycles.
ALTT does not currently automatically delete inactive accounts, but may introduce inactive-account deletion later with notice or updated terms.
17. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- request access to your personal information;
- request correction of wrong or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your account;
- request deletion of AI Tutor chats;
- request deletion of learning progress;
- request a copy or export of your data where legally required or technically available;
- object to certain processing where applicable;
- withdraw consent for optional emails or cookies where applicable;
- unsubscribe from non-essential emails, if such emails are added;
- complain to a local data protection authority where applicable.
Some requests may be limited if ALTT needs to keep certain information for legal, billing, tax, fraud, security, or dispute reasons.
ALTT may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
To make a privacy request, contact ggahramaq@gmail.com and include:
- the email address connected to your ALTT account;
- the type of request;
- enough detail for us to understand your request.
Examples include account deletion, AI chat deletion, data access, correction, child data deletion, or payment/privacy questions.
ALTT aims to respond to normal support requests within 2–5 business days. Privacy requests may take longer if identity verification or legal review is needed, but ALTT will respond within a reasonable time and within legally required timeframes where applicable.
18. International data transfers
ALTT is operated from Azerbaijan, but service providers may process data in other countries.
For example, ALTT uses providers for hosting, database, authentication, payments, AI processing, email delivery, and technical infrastructure. These providers may process data in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other countries.
Your information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries that may have privacy laws different from your country.
Where required, ALTT uses reasonable safeguards for international transfers.
19. Security
ALTT uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect personal information.
These may include:
- HTTPS;
- authentication controls;
- password hashing for email/password accounts;
- access controls;
- database security features;
- provider-level security tools;
- limiting access to user data;
- abuse monitoring;
- backups where available;
- basic incident response steps.
No online service, website, database, or internet transmission is 100% secure. ALTT cannot guarantee perfect security.
If ALTT becomes aware of a security issue, ALTT will take reasonable steps to investigate, reduce harm, fix the issue where possible, review what data may have been affected, and notify users or authorities where legally required.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
20. Links to other websites
ALTT may link to third-party websites or services, such as:
- Google login;
- Paddle checkout;
- exam board websites;
- official past paper sources;
- AI provider pages;
- external resources, videos, or articles.
Third-party websites and services have their own privacy policies. ALTT is not responsible for their privacy practices. You should read their policies before using them.
21. Advertising and sale of personal data
ALTT does not currently:
- sell personal data;
- rent personal data;
- share personal data with advertisers;
- use targeted advertising;
- build advertising profiles;
- show third-party ads inside ALTT.
ALTT may advertise its own platform on third-party websites or advertising platforms, but ALTT does not currently use student account data or learning data to build advertising profiles.
If ALTT later adds advertising pixels, retargeting, marketing cookies, or targeted advertising features, this policy will be updated where required.
22. Changes to this Privacy Policy
ALTT may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we update it, we will post the updated version on the Privacy Policy page and update the “Last updated” date.
For major privacy changes, ALTT may also send an email notice where appropriate. Major changes may include:
- new important data categories;
- major new data uses;
- new AI providers that materially change processing;
- new payment providers that materially affect billing data processing;
- marketing emails;
- analytics or advertising tools;
- school dashboards;
- data sharing with schools, teachers, or parents.
Small wording, formatting, or contact updates may take effect when posted.
If you do not agree with the updated policy, you can stop using ALTT.
Older versions may be available on request where reasonably possible, but ALTT does not guarantee that every previous version will always be available.
